Delta Steel is looking for a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you'll receive, organize, and stage structural steel and other materials to keep our fabrication shop running efficiently.
 

Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as a SkyTrak, telehandler, or forklift

• Experience in structural steel, construction, or industrial material handling preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons

• Dependable, safety-focused, and a team player

 

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a SkyTrak, telehandler, forklift, or similar equipment

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials

• Verify shipments and complete receiving documentation

• Label and stage materials for fabrication

• Maintain accurate inventory and material locations

• Keep the yard and receiving area clean, organized, and safe

• Work closely with production and quality teams to support daily operations
